The OPSC’s official notification stated, “In view of the impending cyclonic storm ‘Dana’, the OCS Preliminary Examination-2023 scheduled to be held on 27.10.2024 is hereby postponed. The next date of the OPSC Preliminary examination 2023 shall be notified after 7 days.” Candidates are urged to stay updated by visiting the official website.
Recruitment Drive and Selection Process
The Odisha Civil Services exam is part of a recruitment drive aiming to fill 399 vacancies in group A and group B posts. The selection process involves three stages: the preliminary examination, mains, and an interview. The prelims consist of two papers, with a total of 499 marks, and negative marking for incorrect answers.
